He Toa Takitini (HTT) is pleased to announce that the Terms of Negotiation (TON) have been ratified at He Toa Takitini's Hui-a-Iwi held on 18 December 2011. This was the culmination of a series of hui and workshops convened to address the issues that emerged at the first Ratification Hui-a-Iwi, ajourned on 24 May 2011. These hui and workshops have involved Ngati Hinemanu whanau from both the Taihape and Heretaunga rohe, the Hinemanu representatives on the HTT Taumata, the HTT Taumata and representatives of our claimant community who attended this latest Hui-a-Iwi.
On behalf of He Toa Takitini, I would like to thank all of you who have been involved in making progress with the terms of Negotiation and we look forward to working with you all toward achieving the next milestone, which will be an Agreement In Principle. Details of the various workstreams for 2012 will be posted on the wesbsite and our facebook page.
